PODCAST: The Bucky & Sully Show_011719

Today on this packed THURSDAY Bucky & Sully Show we were and ALL around the sports landscape in our “Headlines”! We had a chance, as well to go around the NHL and the NFL regarding coaching moves, signings and drama surrounding the teams. Bucky also gave us a SportsUpdate and we dove into some of the stories and what happened overnight.

We also got into some discussion about the Sabres/Flames game from last night in Calgary! This game saw a final score of 4-3 in favor of the Sabres, excitingly in OT!

In the second hour Marc Stein of the New York Times joined us to talk NBA standings and where some of the top teams in the league sit in their quest to to take down the ‘Bay’ for a chance at the championship title! We also asked him about Boogie Cousins coming back from injury for Golden State tomorrow night at the Clippers for his debut with the squad.

We also talked the NFC and AFC Championship games coming up this Sunday! We previewed a few of the match ups both individually and the teams in general. The guys also got into their bets alittle bit more and also delved into some predictions.

In the second hour we got back into the Sabres and what transpired in Calgary last night. What needs to improve? What did the guys notice that worked well?

Finally in the third hour we were joined by Mark Whicker of the LA Daily News. He stopped by, an old friend, to help us break down the LA Rams/NO Saints matchup this weekend in Louisiana for the NFC Championship. He and the guys got into the rest of the league as well as the AFC matchup and some of their takes on that as well.

Obviously at the top of our second hour we got a very assertive Bucky featured in his daily spot BUCK UP! Then, in our third hour, to kick it off, Jerry was extra-super salty in his SALTY SULLY!

Our THERMOSTATS were peppered throughout the show and we satisfied the waiting ears with some very tantalizing stats regarding what the guys feel are OUT OF THIS (SPORTS) WORLD! Back TOMORROW at 9!

We also heard, as we do every day, the guys SHOUTOUTS and acknowledgments to some great sports stories.
